Wait
We send out letters once a month, containing a story and a print with illustration. Mail appearing in your mailbox isn't magic, delivery time depends on where you are in this world.
Receive
Open it. Read it once or three times. Keep it on your shelf, pin it to the wall, burn it. The choice is yours.
How long is the story?
Each story is between 1,500 and 2,500 words. About 15 minutes of reading. Most people read it twice.
Are the stories connected?
Each letter stands on its own. You can start with any month and you'll get a complete story. But if you stay with us, you'll start to notice things. A coat that appeared in March turns up again in July. A character mentioned in passing becomes the centre of next year's letter. There's a city under the letters. We don't insist you find it. But it's there if you want it.

What's inside
The Letter.
4 pages, A5, printed both sides. A short story written for this envelope and no other.
The Print.
A single A5 illustration that belongs to that month's story. Yours to keep.
Sometimes more.
A torn document. A postmark from the city. A note. Not every month. We don't say which.
