Do you dare
open the letter?

There's something... unnerving about the world of Mr. Reed.

And it's not his wild imagination, because he's got witnesses writing to him.

A hardworking student, an old lady with a garden and a draining ditch, a fisherman who catches something bigger than fish.

Mr. Reed,

I'm not even sure if what I want to write to you about is your kind of story, but I really need to share this with someone and don't want anyone I know to get involved. Maybe if I write and send my story to someone, I will stop thinking about it so much, so here it is.

I was a second-year university student here in the city and, like many of my fellow classmates, I was struggling with money most of the time. Even with a part-time job in a warehouse near the docks, I didn't have enough to get out of the dormitory. I've never been a very social person, and I missed my solitude a lot, so I regularly checked job offers for a second part-time job or some other way to earn extra money.

But Mr. Reed has gone missing and his mail needs a new address for all the letters he's been collecting.

October's theme is about a resourcefulness in a situation with no way out.
